Health

Taking Comprehensive and Coordinated Action to Defeat COVID-19

Controlling the disease is the first step to national recovery and renewal. We are bringing together leading health experts across the nation—from Johns Hopkins to Arizona State, Morehouse to University of Washington—to support state and local leaders in implementing measures to protect their people, combat COVID-19, and put us on a path to a safer, more sustainable, and more prosperous America.

Education

Equipping Schools to Safely Educate Our Nation’s Young People

We must find a way to educate children while keeping them—and their teachers and families—safe. We are working with organizations like the Council of the Great City Schools, Council of Chief State School Officers, National Governors Association, American Enterprise Institute, and others to help schools navigate the challenges of remote learning and safe in-person instruction.

Economy

Supporting Economic Recovery and Resilience for a Better Future

To ensure economic recovery and renewal, we working with COVID Collaborative members the Business Roundtable, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Manufacturers, former White House economic advisors, and private sector leaders to explore how business can enable health and educational outcomes (such as requiring mask wearing in business establishments, providing technology for schooling, and following safe practices for reopening). We are also helping state and local leaders identify the steps that they can take to promote economic recovery and resilience.
