Alan Court

Alan Court is Senior Advisor to Ray Chambers. Alan is Vice-Chair of the Board of Medicines for Malaria Ventures and sits on their Executive Committee, Audit and Finance Committee, and North American Board. Alan is also a board member of the Innovative Vector Control Consortium and United for Global Mental Health, and a member of the Program Advisory Group for Global Citizens. Before joining the Office of Ray Chambers, Alan was the Director of the UNICEF Programme Division and had previously been posted in Latin America, Africa, and South Asia. As the Director of the UNICEF Programme Division, he led the division’s strategy development, program guidance, and implementation processes and was responsible for seeing UNICEF’s programs focused on the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.

Prior to this, Alan served for five years as Director of the UNICEF Supply Division in Copenhagen, where he is credited for transforming the global supply chain process and shortening severe logistical delays that were commonplace. Before working in New York and Copenhagen, Alan had a long and distinguished career running UNICEF global offices.

Alan holds a Graduate Degree from the University of Reading School of Education.
