Gabrielle Fitzgerald is the founder and CEO of Panorama, an action tank dedicated to achieving ambitious goals and solving the world’s toughest problems. A global leader who believes innovative approaches and catalytic coalitions can solve the most challenging issues, Gabrielle leads diverse and dynamic teams and collaborates with partners to spark global change. Gabrielle has spent her career working to increase awareness, change policies and raise resources in an effort to decrease the number of deaths from infectious diseases.

Prior to founding Panorama, she directed the $100 million Ebola Program at the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, investing in creative approaches to combat the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. When the outbreak concluded, she participated in working groups advising the United Nations Secretary-General, the World Health Organization, and the National Academy of Medicine on lessons learned from the Ebola outbreak. She has written and spoken extensively on the need for pandemic preparedness. Gabrielle previously led the Global Program Advocacy team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Earlier in her career, she spent five years at the U.S. Agency for International Development, working on HIV/AIDS and humanitarian response, and also served as a speechwriter for President Clinton.
