Ryan Sims is United States of Care’s Senior Manager of Communications.
He joins with a decade of experience across the political and advocacy world in Washington, DC, and beyond. Prior to joining US of Care, he led digital fundraising and outreach for EMILY’s List and numerous federal candidates, as well as heading up United States digital communications for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, before heading west to Colorado in 2018. Since arriving in Denver, he’s led communications and digital efforts for major health policy campaigns, statewide ballot measures, voting rights organizations, and candidates up and down the ballot.
Ryan grew up in almost-rural Kentucky and holds bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and Finance from the University of Kentucky and a master’s in Political Communication from George Washington University. He lives in Denver with his wife and dog. He’s an avid concert-goer, music, and cooking nerd and wishes he would get it together and spend more time in the mountains.
